Meet Our Houses

Sage

Meet Sage, our first and fearless mustang filly. Born in the wild and rounded up from Devil’s Garden in Northern California, Sage made quite the journey through Snowflake, Arizona, before finally finding her way to our hearts.

She may be young, but she has the biggest personality in the barn. This beautiful girl is a total social butterfly who lives for two things: affection and snacks. While she’s mentally ready to begin her under-saddle training, we’re choosing to give her a little more time to mature and grow.  Did you know horses grow until they're six? For now, she’s happy being the center of attention and the queen of the pasture.

Cooper

Meet Cooper, the undisputed "man of the house." At 21 years young, this seasoned gelding still has plenty of engine and a love for the trail, but he is finally embracing the beauty of slowing down.

Cooper’s journey with us has been one of incredible transformation. When he first arrived, he was guarded and distant; he didn’t seek out affection and wouldn't even accept a treat. However, with patience and a lot of heart, he eventually let his guard down. Today, he is a completely different horse—always the first to the gate to greet us with a nuzzle.

With his impeccable "gentleman manners" and steady temperament, Cooper provides a wonderful riding experience for everyone who climbs into his saddle. You may also see him in a few bridal photos!  He is a barn favorite who proves that it’s never too late for a horse to find their "person".

Jeannie May

Jeannie May

Meet Jeannie May, our three-year-old filly who proves that the biggest hearts often come in the smallest packages. Jeannie May’s story began in Bowie, Texas at an auction notorious for shipping their animals to slaughter, but since being rescued and joining our herd, she has blossomed into a source of endless joy.

Though she may be the smallest in the pasture, this little Barbie Dream Horse has it all! She is a spunky girl with a "little-and-large" attitude, meaning she’s never a pushover and can hold her own with the big horses. Whether she’s keeping us laughing with her playful antics or demanding her fair share of treats and scratches, her energy is infectious. She has traded a rough past for a bright future, and we are so lucky to be a part of it.
